Whispers is a new tangible interface that creates rich emotional connectedness between remote couples. It provides different functions and visuals according to how its placed. It supports users daily life while unconsciously connected to each other by sharing music, when placed upright. When turned upside down, it becomes an ambient lamp and time indicator. Yellow light (daytime) gradually changes to blue (nighttime) corresponding to the time of their partners. When grabbed or placed horizontally, users can record their voice or share all ambient sounds. Once drawn near to an ear, users can listen to the sounds recorded by their partners
