MSOrgm was constructed as a life organism designed to interact with the viewer in a quiet and graceful way, in contrast to the unnatural movements of most mechanism. Shape memory alloys are used as mussels for each of the kinetic motor cell to shorten the cell in length. MSOrgm is capable of displaying various motions and configurations by stimulating some of the motor cells, which in turn stimulate other cells that are connected to them. MSOrgm regarded as an organization consisting of autonomous cells which are capable of reacting to other cells, and altogether, display cooperated and sometimes unexpected behaviors.
