Soft Tea Cup+Saucer / Tea cup

Soft Tea Cup+Saucer

The Soft tea cup’s form is derived from the idea to invert the tea cup handle, it sits beautifully in the hand and is easy to pick up from low coffee tables, in addition this inversion of handles allow people with diminished mobility in their hands to handle the cup with ease and enjoy a cup of tea.

Hand-made from slip cast porcelain, the Soft Tea cup is internally glazed and top surface of the saucer is also glazed, leaving the other surfaces in the natural porcelain finish. Hand-making the cups and saucers allows there to be a degree of individuality in their production as no two pieces are exactly alike.
