Puu / floor lamp

Puu
Puu

The floor lamp "Puu" consists of a filigree frame made out of walnut wood and an adequate lamp shade made out of textile. Its form is geared to the construction of a tower crane and also is inspired by the characteristical elements of a tree.
The peculiarity of the floor lamp is the fact that the single parts are separated my their function: The electricity supply gets visualized and thereby it becomes to an aesthetic element of the lamp. The frame stands alone and caters for the stability of the whole lamp. Through the interaction of both elements Puu appears as reduced and elegant.
