Orca du Soleil / solar-catamaran

Orca du Soleil
Orca du Soleil

This concept is a solar-catamaran made of modern and environmentally friendly leightweight-technologies. It qualifies to be used for (half-) daily trips on coastal waters like lakes, rivers or calm coasts at the Mediterranean Sea. The name symbolizes the image of an orca associated with the hull of the catamaran. The sun is the synonym for the applied solar-technology. The textile solar-technology of the wings primary provides the catamaran with energy and protects against sun and rain. In order to transport the components the catamaran is designed to stash every necessary component into the floating bodies and to use them as portable cases.
