Besides two thermal insulated core houses, the youth centre in Biberach provides several additional floors without a specific use. Those areas only differ in size, height and floor covering. During the opening hours young people can come and be creative on these floor levels it is all about being intuitive and productive.
The second facade surrounding the floors is very inexpensive and is similar to greenhouse construction. During cold winter days, the additional floors have the effect of a thermal buffer. Moreover, the area heats up during warm spring days and attracts young people to enter inside the youth centre.
