Designed at the start of the recession and then finally made this year at the end of the recession, this mirror should seem familiar to people in Britain but at first hard to place. It comes from a well honed iconic shape that has been around for decades, something most British people have in their pocket right now, 20p coin. The coin already shares the same reflective properties as the mirror but it is scaled up so at arms length the reflection is to the same proportions as the Queens head in the coin. A special hook is designed for the back so it hangs straight, with a 4mm gap all the way around.
