Discipline: Product

Safe drinking water – a basic human need – is very rare. According to the WHO, a child dies of water borne diseases every 15 seconds. Tata Swach aims to reduce the incidence of water borne diseases. Using natural material (rice, husk, ash) and nanotechnology, it is the world’s lowest priced purifier, providing safe drinking water at around 0.22 cents / liter. It meets US-EPA norms for bacteria. Aimed at the bottom range, Tata Swach doesn’t require electricity / running water. Tata Swach Bulb is a single-stage purification system that can purify up to 3.000 liters, can be fitted in any receptacle, features the "Tata Fuse", an inbuilt power indicator cum auto shut off and the "Tata Lock".
