Wa / Light Architecture

Wa
Wa

Wa means harmony, peace and balance. / 24m2 surface built for a contemporary japanese restaurant in Mexico City. / Each piece is hand-made and unique, fixed to a metallic structure. / Recycled fused glass drowned in concrete. / The polished surfaces let the light from a LED installation pass through the glass from behind. / When turned off, it looks like a regular concrete wall but with the changing light scenarios, the wall subtly changes its appearance to ambient its surroundings. / Technical details: 64 pieces (90x30x2.54cm) 15kg. with metallic frame. /10 light scenes in 1-hour lapse.
