frank.e / e-cruiserbike

frank.e is a electric motor aided cruiser bike. Due to the upright sitting posture cruiser bikes are comfortable but they have a disadvantage: cruising uphill is really exhausting. With our project we found a solution for this problem.
The electric motor can be switched off if you want to drive without aid. The battery is covered by red-brown leather and can be removed easily to recharge it. The saddle can be moved almost linear to the bottom bracket thanks to a special device. This assures the same cruiser feeling for both small and tall persons. (frank.e was made in the 2nd semester at the FHNW Industrial Design, CH)
