French windows are preserved so that those wonderful outdoors sceneries can be fully enjoyed. It also allows sufficient daylight to enter the house. The varied daylight during the day creates different atmospheres for the house. Various materials are skillfully used to create an ingenious layout. A wooden floor is chosen for certain areas to promote a sense of warmth. A black mirror is installed on the wall from the 2nd floor corridor leading to the sitting room, reflecting vague images which add a sense of mystery to the house and also enhance its spaciousness. Besides, clear glass is installed at the staircase to enrich the visual view.
