The façade of the Swiss pavilion at Expo 2010 designed by iart interactive in cooperation with Buchner Bründler architects harmonizes with the pavilions interior and interacts with its surroundings. Transporting the brand of Switzerland and the pavilions theme outdoors, it uses the sun as a creative force and responds to flashes from visitors cameras. The façade is composed of a meshed net curtain to which units with three-dimensional and graphic content are attached, which flash dynamically in reaction to light. With the help of cutting edge solar technology, the units themselves produce the electricity they require to function: a cero energy façade.
