New York Times TV spot is an advertisement to promote the Turkish edition of the newspaper and its launch in Istanbul city. The idea was to create both cities with typography and show that both are closer in terms of potential in information velocity. New Yorks landmarks were modeled and animated using hundreds of text paragraphs which were designed to create shadows and shapes according the weight and size of typography. The result is a fantastic and unique one minute camera sequence travelling around these cities explaining the arrival of New York Times to Turkey.
