Instead of taking revenge for the humiliation of Marathon and subjugating Greece, the Persian multiethnic army is doomed for collapse. Aeschylus tragedy condenses the event to one long outcry, rendered in words. Book design and images accompany the text with increasing density, open up even more gloomy abysses and raise the trepidation to unbearable levels. A clearly structured, sparse typography amplifies the strength of the language. Choice and size of the typeface facilitate the reading experience not only sentence by sentence but word for word.
