The basic idea during the booth creation was to integrate the book and to make the book itself medium of the book fair the relevant element on the table at the fair. A central component of the booth were 3,500 blank books produced from remained paper. Each of the 16 different cover motifs was part of the logo Einzelstücke. Put together in stacks, they resulted in a counter which the visitors could stand at. Since these books were free of charge and distributed together with a poster to visitors, they were an excellent means of communication. The clearing away process of these books caused the booth to visually change and stay interesting.
