Spotlights shine their beams on world that is the stage.
Why are these lights almost all black?
So you can't see them!
A shame, really.
The "Lutz" lights takes their cues from lighting used at trade fairs and transform the iconic spotlight shape by housing a delicate metal frame in a semi-translucent casing of black fabric. In contrast to the emphatically black outlines of the frame, the inside of the lamp is dazzlingly white. A hint of colour comes from the red fabric-coated flex and two red adjusting screws.
