Texture and textile every garment carries a certain story for its wearer. The project White Pages explores this notion and tries to make this layer visibel, re-writable and readable.
The trenchcoat becomes writable through the special combination of different materials and the effect of adhesion through targeted pressure. It acts like an information protector but at the same time can transform into an analog message board. Someone can leave messages with there fingertips on the wearer's back. On the other hand, for the wearer it is possible to write his notes on the front of the coat or hide these on the inside of the pockets.
