The sketchbook Babel 2.0 is a possibility to write and receive handwritten, analogue postcards via a web application. This service enables to recover a sort of communication in a more physical and intimate way, because handwriten notes are as personal as a fingerprint and receiving a real card more valuable in digital times. For the process I created a sketchbook with infrared technology as an input device and a web site where you can easily write your postcards and send them, just with 3 clicks. A vector based PDF will be generated on a server of an online printer manufacturer and produced and transferred to the right person.
