When books are being scanned by conventional scanners the spine of the book is heavily overstreched.
The bookscanner BooX enhances a careful handling of books through its adapted design.
Its triangular profile represents a save support for books to be scanned and is also a reference to an open book.
BooX is intended to be released in two versions. A compact model and an advanced version for librarys, which consists of a rotateable wall mount.
By rotating BooX at 180° angle, not only is its formal nature is changed but its function as well. The opposite side of BooX, which is the counterpart of the scanner, works as a printing device.
