Back to Basics / Herbs mill

Back to Basics
Back to Basics

Not very long ago, almost every appliance, tool or item in a home was made from wood. The aim with this project was to enhance traditional materials and production methods for scandinavia and avoid materials such as plastics and metals. Wood and porclain is both sustainable materials which can be produced regionally.

This is a pepper/salt mill which has a shape that reminds us of traditional mills but yet it is minimalistic and simple. It is made from turned Ash and glazed porclain and stands in a porclain cup to prevent crumbs on the table.
