Nowadays, to prevent people from throwing gum on the street. People do not particularly try to keep the wrappers, or just throw it away out of sheer habit.
The gum packaging design that obligates the person's behavior during the whole gum chewing procedure. Gum for Green lets people who normally spit gum or look for other paper to naturally keep the wrapping paper with them. The gum package consists of a piece of paper and a strand of thread. This wrapper is folded in a zigzag form, apertures between the zigzags are the spaces for each stick of gum. The stitches allow to easily tear off the parts of used wrapping paper of the package.
