This is a "Beacon of life" for those suffering from the mine accidents in the third world countries. Every year, 10-20 thousand people, mostly farmers and children, are killed or injured. The 'beacon of life' will guide people to the safe route free from mines. This product, equipped with RFID, a new technology to collect information from a distance with the radio wave, is composed of a reader and a tag. The solar-powered readers are placed at mine-free locations at intervals of 150 meters and create a safe zone. The tag, put around the neck, receives signals from the readers and changes colors of the light to give warnings of danger.
