AshPlate / Public Ashtray

AshPlate is a public ashtray for smoking zones. Clean, convenient, and easy-to-maintain, it offers a more pleasant smoking environment.

Many smokers dislike public smoking zones. The ashtrays in these zones are often full of stubs and look unapealing. AshPlate has been designed to offer a pleasant environment for smokers, and to make a contribution towards a cleaner city. It is based on the notion that stubbing out a cigarette was derived from the action of stamping it out by foot. Cigarette stubs are collected beneath AshPlate. Any posture is suitable to the use of AshPlate, which allows the space within a smoking zone to remain flexible.
