left over/toothpaste

The statistic from China Oral Care Industry Association in year 2006 shows that the amount of usage of toothpaste has reached a volume of 5.2 billions in China. There is always some “left over” in the upper part of every toothpaste tube, therefore billions of tubes of that much toothpaste have been wasted. The tube wall that connects the screw top and the body is very thin and easy to break. the screw top of the tube can be broken off with the cap on it. The “left over” toothpaste can be used without obstructs caused by the tube screw top, therefore. It requires certain degree of pressure to break it.
