Cardboard living / material application

Cardboard living
Cardboard living

Cardboard used with care can last for years, but this project specially shows
a clever and cheep solution for public or domestic temporary event.
Cutting the big cardboard rolls, normally assigned to packaging industry, into “slices” of a few-centimeters, spools of paper can be obtained. Fixed only at the very end of the spiral, they can take infinite shapes and functions.
Until now I designed an armchairs, a stool, a coffee-table and a flexible lamp. They are all extremely easy to assemble or dismantle with no need of glue or screws. You can take them out of their boxes to have seats, and just pack them away when there is no longer need
