Shroom / Dental mouth prop

Shroom is a mouth-prop for keeping the patient’s mouth open, so dental work can be performed by the dentist easily. With its friendly shape and bright colors, Shroom was designed to appeal to kids so they would cooperate in dental procedures. The form was inspired by mushrooms with the “stalk” providing a biting surface while the “cap” rests comfortably against the inner cheek. Made of silicon, it is used together with a flavor spray to reduce the gagging reflex. As a safety precaution, the hole allows dental floss to be threaded through, to be pulled by the dentist in the event of choking. It comes in 3 sizes, so adults can use them too.
