The high elastic recovery capability of a novel Ti-Sn-Mo alloy was applied in the design of these interdental brushes. Compared with conventional usage of stainless steel wire, the elastic recovery angle of the Ti-Sn-Mo alloy (39°) was much higher than that of the stainless steel (2°). Consequently, this novel interdental brush may clean molars easily, which require higher bending angles. Moreover, TiO2-coated Ti-Sn-Mo alloy that can inhibit the dwelling and growth of bacteria or viruses can further enhance the effectiveness of interdental brushes.
