Zao! / Suitcase

“Zao!" means good morning in Chinese, which is also known as Zao An. “Zao!" is a fresh start, and “An” is a kind of bailment and expectation. Traveling allows us to inspire new expectations in new life.
Travelers embrace the dream of visiting every corner of the world. When the travelers move to a new city for a new life, they can reuse the trunk which initially accompanied the journey to seek the dream: collecting the memories, setting up a dream. Dreams and the rebirth of new life symbolize hope for the future.
The outer shell of the suitcase for travels are covered by fiber and PU composite (Baypreg), which is presently applied in the vehicle interior. These materials characterize in the lightness and hardness. Using the tenacity of fiber and the structural nature of PU material, they are very suitable for suitcase design. The sustainability of Baypreg makes the box disassembled as two slots for planting. The shape of “Zao!", composed of the pinholes at the bottom, provides with drainage function, making plants grow up healthily.
“Zao!" with a smile not only accompanies and supports the traveler during journeys, but also gives blessing full of a smile to him when he decides to settle down.
