Leaf / Lighting

Leaf

Leaf is a bedside wall lamp with a large shade, which works as a switch and a dimmer for the lamp. The angle of the shade corresponds with the intensity of light. This was inspired by the gesture that the light source is faced toward the subject when the lighting is in use while it is usually faced away when not needed. Since it does not require any control on small switches or knobs to achieve desirable light intensity, it can be used in the same manner by wide range of users including people with arthritis and the elderly.
