Tellatale / Interactive Storytelling Space

Tellatale
Tellatale

Tellatale is an interactive space used within the children’s section of a library. Using RFID technology, a storybook is recognized the moment it is brought into the space. Depending on the story’s theme, Tellatale projects a virtual environment to the delight of both adult and child within an intimate space. Page by page, new worlds and characters are explored together as the story unfolds. Reading, spelling and counting activities are filled with fun and laughter as preschool kids interact with their parents. Tellatale accomplishes one of the most crucial bonding activities between a loving parent and child – to tell a tale.
