SafeTire / Tire

SafeTire
SafeTire

SafeTire is an informative tire that tells user when to replace it. Bold red color appears on its surface when the tire reaches its limit of abrasion. Therefore, a driver can notice whether a tire is safe or not easily to secure their own safety. It raises visual awareness both to its user and other drivers and helps to reduce possible car accidents which can be caused by defective tire. Red rubber layer is rolled before the black rubber in manufacturing process. It lies beneath 1/16 inch from the surface, which is the limit of abrasion for a safe tire. Thus, it naturally appears when a tire is worn out. It is a simple yet smart tire.
