Sense is a completely new operating control unit for Home Entertainment Systems. But it is no common remote. The goal of my design is to alleviate the handling of remote control units especially for elderly and visually impaired people.
The control unit cant be recognised as such. Its not only one device, but every function has its own module. The controls of Sense are reduced to the basic elements: ON/OFF, PLAY, REWIND, FAST FORWARD and VOLUME. The individual sphere modules vary in their size, weight and the surface structure. With the help of the mentioned criteria the respective function can be sensed.
