Elderly care phone / mobile phone

Elderly care phone
Elderly care phone

The concept is to use remote medical technology through mobiles to intervene in aging patients' chronic diseases-hypertension. Unlike home measurement devices, mobile phones offer immediacy and convenience to assist in self-management behaviors. The phone has a sensor for measuring finger pulse data, which can be converted into readings of blood pressure, and a network server simultaneously transmitted the readings to the medical centre, where medical experts can process further diagnosis feedbacks to patients. Also, it features big numbers with the drawable keypad designed to shrink the size of current elderly phones to be highly portable.
