Snatch / ecoDesign: sphygmomanometer

The blood pressure meter “Snatch” developed within a project on the subject of ecoDesign.
The main idea of the concept is to live on others. Being equipped with an USB connection, “Snatch” uses a PC or a mobile phone as source of electricity, display and computer. As a result, the number of componentes decreased drastically. The most problematic parts concerning production and recycling, like the batteries and the display, are not needed any more. Furthermore, using a mobile phone or a PC provides new opportunities in evaluating and using the results of the measurements.
It is easy to dismantle “Snatch” and to recycle all of its parts.
