The growing amount of food allergies has created a market for mass customization in restaurants. The e-menu provides a digital list of ingredients and customers select the foods they like and dislike. This way chefs know the customers preferences. Customers with allergies will have to fill out an allergy profile. With this profile the chef can produce a personalized meal without any dangers for the customer. The service at these new restaurants will improve since the e-menu will send the order via bluetooth directly to the chef. From the e-menu the customer is able to receive information about the ingredients that go into creating their plate
