Designlanguage / design-guidelines

The task was the creation of a designlanguage for the industrial design of the fictive brand „nxt“, which is summerized in form of a guidebook. Besides more details on the brand, its values and future goals the guidebook explains in coherent texts, examples and illustrations further the framework of the industrial design of „nxt“.
Generaly it can be said that there are two main rule-sets for the design of „nxt“, DNA principles (open design rules) and DNA elements (restrictive rules). The combination of those two rule-sets helps the design of „nxt“ to stay in vogue without the danger of loosing a clear recognition & connection of the brand.
