The rescue bottle provides rehydration drink and nutritions for disaster-hit people in early stages of natural disasters. By doing this, it mitigates diarrhoea and other water borne diseases in disaster-hit areas. It simply filters contaminated water with the help of a highly concentrated solution which drives water molecules from contaminated water into the core of the bottle through a hyper filtration membrane. This process is called forward osmosis, in which no energy or physical involvement is required.
