Lotusense / Water sensor

In a lot of countries it is not common to have drinkable water form the tap. Water found at wells in remote areas is often not drinkable. Tourist, soldiers and businesspeople can not distinguish good from bad water, in countries they visit.

For these situations Lotusense could be a solution. It is a water-sensor with a LED water-quality indicator and a reward: if the water is drinkable the lotusflower on top opens. The material is PE with memory plastic in the leaves. Influenced by UV-Light the flower opens. A powerful way to show the water is drinkable, not only for personal use, but also in tourist areas to show the water is good.
