asyme / hospitals tableware system

„Asyme“ tableware system was conceived for use in hospitals. The design principles of the line are a clear form language and high practical use. Its asymmetrical surfaces form the line's distinctive feature, hence comes the name „Asyme“. The asymmetrical form has a functional character - it provides grasp surface. Beyond that the tableware system possesses thermo-isolating characteristics since it is to be manufactured out of double-layered or foamed melamin polymer. Special color coding of the trays should make menu recognition for e.g. vegetarians, diabetics etc. simpler.
