N7 / Sailing catamaran

N7 is a sailing catamaran intended for sustainable ecological whale watching tours. It attends to the ecological problem of noise pollution of the oceans and their consequences to marine animals. Due to its remarkable sails it is particularly more silent than propeller driven powerboats.
The catamaran is a daysailer without a coach. Propulsion is achieved through two Flettner-Rotors, an active sail system, which employs the wind very effectively while being safe and easy to handle. The sails as well as the additional propeller propulsion are powered by a fuel cell.
