Smart Edge / Edging intelligence

Smart Egde is a food box, which also can be used in the microwave. This is allowed by the round shape and the intelligence in the edge of the box, where a flexible ring with holes is integrated.

If the lid lies on the box, through these holes the box ventilates for food in the refrigerator to prevent show condensation. In the Microwave fluids cannot spurt out because the air is “turning around the corner”.

If pressed on the box the lid clips on and seals it. With pressing down the lid, the flexible ring in the edge is folded down and the lid caulks airtight with the inner edge of the box.
