Twist-X Cruet / It's a salt and pepper shaker

Twist-X Cruet
Twist-X Cruet

A cross lock is a type of lock invented in ancient China that utilizes the centrifugal force generated from twisting two crossed objects to push the tenon back and separate the two connected objects. To connect them back together, simply cross them and shake a few times, the internal tenon will hold them together tightly. The “Twist-X” is a salt and pepper shaker design based on this concept. They can hold pepper, salt, or sugar; and can be placed flat or standing up on a table. They can serve as a table decoration, and also create joyful conversation at the table.
