This concept of a mobile hemodialysis device is based on the medical / technical study WAK. The dialysate gets regenerated by a filtrationsystem and then back in the dialysis system. This enables mobility for the patient while having a dialysis treatment. The constellation of the single components enables an optimally ergonomic way to wear the dialysis device. The buildup ensures self- servicing and a good handling of it. The important components are sheltered by protectors. Reliable secureness and an appearance free from stigma was the main aim of the design.
