My diploma thesis revolves around the development of an avalanche transceiver for the rescue of victims buried in snow.
inuit 457 is a device for locating avalanche victims that - concerning its interface as well as its interactional concept - has been optimized for the rescue of avalanche victims and for use by Freeriders. Hence, it enables the user to easily handle the complex procedures involved in the rescue of avalanche victims. Even without extensive training and knowledge, in case of emergency the user is being guided and supported by simple but efficient search patterns and control elements.
