FishCoat / Decorative Coating Material

FishCoat
FishCoat

Fishcoat is translucent or opaque decorative coating material intended for interior objects, such as luminaries, screens, cross walls or decorative tableware. Its rough texture refracts and reflects light in different angles and creates glittering impression.
Its principal component, industrially cleaned fish-scales, is of an organic origin and thus utilizes a waste material generated as a secondary product at fish leather production. Increasing an exploitation of whole fish by producing Fishcoat could create new jobs in fishing areas and lead to sustainability awareness of local communities as well as of general public.
