WORK / Desk for public spaces

WORK
WORK

'Work' is a stand-up table for public spaces such as airport waiting areas, stations, company lobbies, exhibition centres to support people working and using laptops on the move. The idea was inspired by observing people’s behaviours in public spaces and research into emerging working habits.
The table frame is made from bent stainless steel tubes and sand cast aluminum joints. The table top is made from solid core high pressure laminate. Grooves on the table top prevent any accidental spillage invading other people’s space.
