The conceptual work Butterfly Party comprehends two interacting components: a garden object wich works as a butterfly station and a dinnerware wich is associated wich the garden object. The decoration on the dishes changes when a butterfly sits on the object outside.
The butterflyhouse acts as a feeding and resting station and has a touchsensitive
piezo-electric surface. It can be charged with food and perfume to allure butterflies and to have a variable decoration on the dinnerware. So the user is connected with the garden and is also responsible for the function of his dishes. A new value for a traditional product emerges.
