The idea is that the illumination of a certain area should become much more flexible than it is today. Today, users can only decide whether a lamp is switched on or off or sometimes they can dim light. The newly developed Rima lamp goes way beyond established technologies. Now, light can actively controlled with our hands. Users are able to create their very own illumination of their personal areas just by moving rings on the lamp, and thus the light, to the place they want to. Each main ring has a further ring included, which can be turned and thus control the angles of the light outlet, the color of the light, its intensity and its warmth.
