The Sialk's necklace / jewelry design/ apparel

The Sialk's necklace
The Sialk's necklace

This is a gold necklace that the Sialk’s pottery’s inscriptions were the inspiration of designing it. Sialk is an important archaeological site in Iran. Images of horns of cows and wild goats, wings of birds, sun and plants are some kind of decorative design that used as well as geometrical design(simple, curved and intersecting lines)on potteries. In this design curved lines indicate the horns of goat, the regular vertical lines remind plants and bird’s wing too. This necklace was made by archaic method. Putting the necklace’s sketch on a surface of silver sheet and sawing around it. Then sandblast it with gold. The result would be a necklace in ancient style.
