TAKE MY HAND / Shopping bag

TAKE MY HAND
TAKE MY HAND

TAKE MY HAND, a shopping bag with a third handle, is designed for the parent shopping with a small child. When shopping bags occupy both of the parent’s hands, there’s no hand for the child. The third handle solves this problem. It’s placed lower than the other handles, on one side at just the right height for the child to hold. The child not only stays close to the parent, but also can have the emotional satisfaction of “helping” to carry the groceries.
This design solves a problem for the caring parent, adds to the security of the child, encourages parent-child bonding, and teaches the child to participate in the adult world.
